<p>The present invention discloses a drug storage cabinet and a method for controlling the same. The disclosed drug storage cabinet comprises a plurality of shelves each forming a single story, a plurality of columns formed by dividing each of the shelves for storing drugs of same or different kinds, a drug discharge unit for discharging the drugs of same or different kinds stored in each column in the forward direction of the shelves, a drug discharge drive part for driving the drug discharge unit so as to discharge the drugs in the forward direction of the shelves, and a control unit for controlling the motion of discharging a predetermined dose of a drug stored in one of the columns in one of the shelves so as to load the predetermined dose on a moving head and the motion of moving the moving head loaded with the drug toward a discharge opening.</p> |
