<p>The present invention relates to an enhanced hair iron capable of both dry and wet perm treatments without damaging the hair. Accordingly, the present invention provides a hair iron (10, 10', 10") comprising a grip part (11) having a built-in circuit unit therein, and at least one hair-heating part (13) at a front of the grip part (11) having a metal heating member (15) heated by a heater (14) for providing heat energy to hair, wherein the hair-heating part (13) includes a rubber layer (16) covering an overall outer surface of the hair-heating part (13) or covering only the metal heating member (15) to transfer latent energy to hair (H), and a nonmetal slip coating layer (17) deposited on an outer part of the rubber layer and made of one of either silicon or urethane at an outer surface of the rubber layer (16) to allow hair to slip thereon.</p> |
