PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose the electric power supply capacity of a network power source that supplies power to a diagnosed apparatus consisting of a plurality of stations.SOLUTION: A diagnosing apparatus 5 comprises a memory unit in which the wattage consumed by each of multiple stations and the permissible wattage that a power supply unit 4 can supply are stored in advance; and a control unit that acquires the wattage consumed by each of the multiple stations and the permissible wattage that the power supply unit can supply on the basis of the configuration defining information of each of the multiple stations including the power supply unit, calculates the total wattage consumed by totaling the acquired wattage consumed, and diagnoses the power supply capacity of the power supply unit by comparing the calculated total wattage consumed and the permissible wattage.
