PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electricity storage device excellent in charge/discharge speed and capacity density.SOLUTION: An electricity storage device includes an electrolyte layer 3, and a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 4 provided so as to sandwich the electrolyte layer. In the electricity storage device, at least one of the electrodes is a composite comprising at least the following (A) and (B), while the following (B) is fixed within the electrode. (A) A thiophene-based polymer that changes conductivity according to the insertion/desorption of ions. (B) A polycarboxylic acid.
