PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical absolute unit that can easily and inexpensively add the functions of a mechanical absolute encoder to a motor unit equipped with a motor and a rotational angle sensor for detecting the rotational angle of the output shaft of the motor, a mechanical absolute encoder and an actuator.SOLUTION: A mechanical absolute unit is provided with a driving gear linked to the output shaft, equipped with a rotational angle sensor, of a power source; a plurality of follower gears meshing with the driving gear; and rotational angle sensors for follower gears that detect the rotational angles of the plurality of follower gears. The number of the driving gear revolutions is figured out from the combination of rotational angles of the driving gear and of the plurality of follower gears. |
