PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharged engine capable of suppressing occurrence of knocking and increase of NOx in acceleration, and capable of suppressing a torque insufficient state in acceleration.SOLUTION: A turbocharged engine includes: an EGR device 60 having an EGR passage 61 communicating an exhaust passage 30 on the downstream side of a turbine 22 and an intake passage 10 on the upstream side of a compressor 23, and an EGR valve 63 for adjusting a flow rate of EGR gas passing through the EGR passage 61; and control means for, in acceleration of an engine, opening the EGR valve 63 when an increase rate of an accelerator opening is less than a prescribed value, and closing the EGR valve 63 when the increase rate of the accelerator opening is equal to or more than the prescribed value. |
