PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide isoxazole derivatives that function as potentiators of glutamate receptors, methods for producing the same, pharmaceutical compositions containing the same, and use of the same in therapy.SOLUTION: Compounds represented by the formula, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, methods of producing the same, pharmaceutical compositions containing the same, and methods for using the same. (For example, Ris methyl, trifluoromethyl or cyclopropyl; Rand Rin combination with the nitrogen to which they are attached form a cyclic moiety such as morpholino, pyrrolidinyl or piperazinyl.
