PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation mechanism for a display device, the mechanism being able to facilitate the operation of attaching a display device so that the display is rotatable, able to position the display device 90° rotated to the left and right by smoothly rotating the display device, and able to reduce a gap between the display device and an installation member.SOLUTION: On the back face of a display device 1, a first rotary member 41 and a semicircular guide member 30 are provided so as to be located on the same axis, and a second rotary member 42 is provided in contact with the outer periphery of the semicircular guide member. The semicircular guide member 30 is attached to the support member 50 provided horizontally on, for example, a wall 60, which is an installation member. When the display device 1 is rotated to the left and right around the first rotary member 41 so as to be placed in a vertical position for a vertically long screen from a horizontal position for a horizontally long screen, rotation blocking end faces 53 and 54 at both ends of the support member 50 abut on the rotation blocking faces 53 and 54 provided on the projecting part of an upper back face cabinet 21. Accordingly, the display device 1 is prevented from rotating beyond 90°. |
