PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that achieves low-temperature fixing while suppressing contamination of a fixing member by a mold release agent.SOLUTION: A toner for electrostatic charge image development includes toner particles containing a binder resin having a carboxyl group and a mold release agent having the endothermic peak temperature of 50°C or less, in which the carboxyl group and calcium included in the binder resin present on the surface of the toner particle form a salt; and the amount of the calcium detected by ion chromatography is 1.00×10mol/g or more and 0.90×10mol/g or less.
