PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress clogging of the inside of a vibrating pulverizer due to a cellulose-containing raw material.SOLUTION: A method for preparing powdered cellulose comprises the steps of: using the vibrating pulverizer 10; continuously supplying the cellulose-containing raw material from a raw material supply part 131; vibrating pulverization chambers 111, 121 to pulverize the cellulose-containing raw material by a grinding medium 15; and continuously discharging the pulverized cellulose-containing raw material from a powder discharge part 132 as the powdered cellulose. The fluidizing velocity of the cellulose-containing raw material per the cross-sectional area of the open space in the pulverization chamber 111 or 121 is set within 1,000-10,000 kg/(h-m). A gas G is made to flow at 1.5-30 m/minute linear velocity in the pulverization chamber 111 or 121 from the upstream side thereof to the downstream side thereof. |
