PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knitted fabric suitable for underwear in which the knitted fabric prevents skin from irritating, has an excellent pilling resistance and an excellent washing durability while using wool as materials for the knitted fabric, and achieves soft feeling with smoothness allowing the knitted fabric to be worn as an underwear, and further has a high stretchability, heat-retaining property, and moisture absorbing/releasing properties.SOLUTION: A knitted fabric made of blended spun yarn is knitted with the blended spun yarn comprising wool and fine-fineness polyamide fiber whose surfaces are treated with silicone. Conditions for producing the blended spun yarn is set as follows: the blended spun yarn includes a polyamide fiber of 30 mass% to 70 mass%; the count of the blended spun yarn is (1/72) or less in metric yarn count; and a twist coefficient K of the blended spun yarn is in a hard twist range of 3.7-4.7 (inch system). |
