PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure, by targeting a decorative metallic article manufacturing method and a decorative metallic article, a high designability even for shapes having floating island patterns.SOLUTION: After a cut-out portion 23 of a plate material 20 corresponding to characters or a pattern has been subjected to a press work, a resin 12 is injected thereon. The cut-out portion 23 can be separated from the body portion 22 of the plate material 20 by an injection pressure P mediated by the resin 12. This manufacturing method is capable of forming a floating island unit 24 on the plate material 20 without configuring a bridging portion targeting the body portion 22. |
