A road lamp that uses ascending air currents and flywheel battery electricity generation, comprising a post (1) and a plurality of wind power generators (2) arranged inside said post (1). A cambered wind cap (12) is provided on the upper portion of the post (1). A flywheel battery (3) and a control circuit (5) are provided in the post (1). The post (1) is made of a transparent material and is provided with a salt layer (9). As air current passes the cambered wind cap (12) the flow speed thereof increases thereby decreasing pressure, whereupon high pressure air current flows upward and forms a strong ascending air current. The black salt layer (9) inside of the post (1) absorbs the heat from sunlight, and the air that has been heated moves upward and forms another strong ascending air current. The two ascending air currents push the wind power generator (2) inside of the post (1) to rotate and generate electricity for road lamp illumination. The electricity generating means being inside of the post (1) of the road lamp allows for a low maintenance rate. The salt layer (9) is used as the means for solar electricity generation, allowing for lower costs and longer life. A flywheel battery (3) is used in place of chemical batteries, thereby avoiding the environmental pollution caused by chemical batteries. |
