A mobile phone is provided with a display or the like having a touch panel provided thereto. When an edge of the touch panel is touched, a touch icon indicating a touch position is displayed. Furthermore, when the distance between the touch position and the edge of the touch panel becomes greater than a first threshold value, a cursor is displayed on the basis of the touch position. The cursor is moved when the touch position is changed by a touch operation. If a cursor-movement quantity is high, an afterimage object indicating previous positions (a trajectory) of the cursor is displayed. Moreover, if the cursor-movement quantity is low, the afterimage object is not displayed. |
