<p>The present invention prevents the erroneous detection of an overcurrent, and determines whether a current in a main element is an overcurrent or not without dead time. When establishing electrical continuity in a main element (100), a gate signal for establishing electrical continuity is applied to a gate of a sense element (200) earlier than to the main element (100), so that an overshoot caused by a differential circuit in a gate input unit of the sense element (200) occurs before a current flows into the main element (100), whereby erroneous detection of overcurrents is prevented and the determination of whether the current in the main element (100) is an overcurrent or not can be made without dead time.</p> |
