PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device and an image forming device capable of suppressing the uneven glossiness of an image by reducing the warping of a frame member, and suppressing an interference between the frame member and a flexible belt or a frame member built-in member, even when a diameter of the flexible belt member is made to be small.SOLUTION: An image heating device has a rotatable flexible belt member heated by a heating source; a back-up member contacting with an inner peripheral surface of the flexible belt member; a frame member for supplying pressurizing force to the back-up member; and a pressurizing member opposing to the back-up member. The image heating device clips and carries a recording material carrying an image to a nip portion formed between the flexible belt member and the pressurizing member and heats the image. The frame member has an upstream side surface portion positioned on an upstream side in a carrying direction of the recording material, a downstream surface portion positioned on a downstream side, and a top surface portion connecting the upstream side surface portion and the downstream side surface portion. The thickness of at least one of the upstream side surface portion and the downstream side surface portion is thicker than the thickness of the top surface portion. |
