PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma generator and a washing device using the plasma generator capable of continuing stable operation for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A plasma generator 1 has: a plasma generating part 10; a plasma power supply 2; and a gas supply 3. The plasma generating part 10 has: a gas storage 14; a liquid storage 15; a partition wall 12; a first electrode 18; and a second electrode 19. The partition wall 12 has a gas passage 13 which separates the gas storage 14 and the liquid storage 15 from each other, and guides gas stored in the gas storage 14 to the liquid storage 15. The first electrode 18 is arranged in the gas storage 14, and the second electrode 19 is arranged such that at least a portion paired with the first electrode 18 comes into contact with liquid stored in the liquid storage 15. When electric discharge is generated between the first electrode 18 and the second electrode 19, the plasma power supply 2 sets a potential of the first electrode 18 to a value lower than that of a potential of the second electrode 19. |
