PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensing technique capable of detecting communication of a primary user, while communicating as a secondary user to enable continuous sensing in a cognitive radio communication device.SOLUTION: The radio communication device includes: a sensing antenna for sensing communication by a primary user; a first transmission antenna; a second transmission antenna; first transmission means for generating a transmission signal to be transmitted from the first transmission antenna; second transmission means for generating a transmission signal, which is a transmission signal to be transmitted from the second transmission antenna to cancel the transmission signal from the first transmission antenna by the sensing antenna; digital signal processing means for suppressing the transmission signal from the first transmission antenna on the basis of the reception signal of the sensing antenna; and sensing means for detecting communication by the primary user on the basis of the reception signal of the sensing antenna processed by the digital signal processing means.
