ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an ultrasonic probe from generating heat when measuring hardness of a biological tissue.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmission/reception part and a control part. The transmission/reception part transmits/receives ultrasonic waves for measuring displacement of a biological tissue every time the biological tissue is displaced due to acoustic radiation force or mechanical vibration. The control part sets an observation period of time for observing propagation of the displacement of the biological tissue on the basis of a propagation velocity corresponding to a velocity at which the displacement of the biological tissue is propagated, and performs multiple courses of the transmission/reception of the ultrasonic waves performed on each of scanning lines by the transmission/reception part, with respect to the observation period of time.
