<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manuscript pressing plate opening and closing device simplified in structure by reducing the extra number of component parts and capable of being manufactured at a moderate cost.SOLUTION: The manuscript pressing plate opening and closing device is constituted by a mounting member 7 having a cylindrically shaped mounting leg part 6; a support member 10 turnably mounted on both side plate parts 8, 8 provided on this mounting member through a hinge pin 9; a roller 12 turnably mounted on a rocking part 11 of this support member; elastic means 14 stored in a storage hole 13 provided in the axial direction of the central part of the mounting leg part of the mounting member and composed of a compression coil spring elastically provided between a bottom part 13a and the roller; and a cylindrically shaped spring guide 15 fitted by covering the outside of the upper end part side of this elastic means 14.</p> |
