PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for appropriate channel selection when a mobile station can wirelessly connect to a mobile network directly and can also connect to another mobile network via another mobile station.SOLUTION: The communication system comprises: a first mobile station (10) that can connect to at least one first network (30); and a second mobile station (20) that can connect to a second network (40). The first mobile station has the function of connecting to the second network via the second mobile station. The network which the first mobile station is to connect is selected on the basis of the quality of a radio channel between the first mobile station and the second mobile station.
