The cell (50) has two battery cell terminals (11, 12) connected with a battery system through a monitoring circuit (40) i.e. flexible printed circuit board. A positive electrode and a negative electrode are arranged within a battery cell housing (30) and connected with the battery cell terminals that are arranged within the battery cell housing through flow paths. The circuit is designed to record measurement variable of the cell. The circuit comprises an outer part (39) and an inner part, which are respectively arranged on outside and inside of a battery cell housing cover (28).
