<p>A method for operating user interface using a 2D camera according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a step of receiving images of a passenger; a step of extracting real images and virtual images from the passenger images and recognizing gesture information using their correlation; and step of selecting a vehicle operation corresponding to the recognized gesture information. Therefore, the method improves user convenience and safety by allowing a user to control various electronic devices with one hand inside a vehicle and operating a steering wheel with the other hand while gazing at the front.</p> |
