摘要 The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device. An objective of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device, capable of controlling the polarities of data voltages output from three data lines through one data voltage output channel in a pixel inversion scheme, and a driving method thereof. The liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of pixels formed at a region defined by gate lines and data lines crossing each other; a drive integrated circuit which converts image data into data voltages, divides one horizontal interval into a plurality of sub-horizontal intervals, converts the polarities of the data voltages output to different data lines through a data voltage output channel to be different for adjacent data lines, and outputs the data voltages for each sub-horizontal interval; a gate drive circuit which sequentially outputs a scan signal to the gate lines; a data divider including a dividing circuit to divide data voltage sequentially input for each sub-horizontal interval from the data output channel of the drive integrated circuit to the same number of data lines as the number of the sub-horizontal intervals; and a timing controller which transmits, to the drive integrated circuit, a polarity control signal for controlling the polarity of the data voltage output to the data line for each sub-horizontal interval to be different for adjacent data lines.
