摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a system, and a robot for processing omnidirectional image data.SOLUTION: A method of processing omnidirectional image data includes: a step of receiving omnidirectional image data representing a panoramic field-of-view; and a step of dividing the omnidirectional image data into a plurality of image slices with one or more processors. Each of the plurality of image slices represents at least a part of the panoramic field-of-view of the omnidirectional image data. The method also includes a step of calculating a slice descriptor for each of the image slices, and a step of generating a current sequence of the slice descriptor. The current sequence of the slice descriptor includes the calculated slice descriptor for each of the image slices.
