PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for production of an exchange spring magnet having uniform composite nanostructure, to provide a magnetic material useful as a permanent magnet having high coercive force and high residual magnetic flux density, and to enhance the output significantly compared with a conventional neodymium magnet, when applied to a motor.SOLUTION: In a magnetic material composed of a SmCoCuFe alloy produced by quick chilling coagulation method, the Sm:(Co+Cu+Fe) atomic weight ratio is in a range of 1.0:5.0-1.0:6.6, the Co:Cu atomic weight ratio is in a range of 7.2:2.8-5.0:5.0, and SmCocrystal and α-Fe crystal are nanocrystallized simultaneously. |
