PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope that can make it easy to separate light into AF light and light other than the AF light without limiting a wavelength of the light other than the AF light.SOLUTION: A microscope 100 comprises: an objective lens 6; and an AF device 30 that detects a focus movement between the objective lens 6 and a specimen S. The AF device 30 is an active method AF device that irradiates the specimen S with light of a longer wavelength than light of a wavelength in the infrared region to be used in a laser scanning microscope as excitation light, or used for an optical tweezers operation in an optical tweezers device as AF light. |
