<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively extract nickel from an acidic solution including high concentration of manganese.SOLUTION: A valuable metal extraction agent is represented by the following general formula. In the formula, Rand Reach represent the same or different alkyl group; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an optional group other than an amino group bonded to theαcarbon as an amino acid. Following the general formula preferably has a glycine unit, a histidine unit, a lysin unit, an aspartic acid unit or an N-methylglycine unit. When extracting nickel using the extraction agent, pH of an acid solution is preferably adjusted into the range of 2.3 or more and 5.5 or less.</p> |
