An organic light emitting element (100) comprises: an internal light extraction layer (2) that has a diffusion layer (2a) and a smooth layer (2b); and a transparent electrode (1) that has a base layer (1a) and an electrode layer (1b). The transparent electrode (1) is arranged on the smooth layer (2b) side of the internal light extraction layer (2); the internal light extraction layer (2) has a refractive index of 1.7 or more but less than 2.5; and the electrode layer (1b) is configured from silver or an alloy that is mainly composed of silver. |
