PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that is able to improve absorbance measurement and analysis accuracy and reproducibility.SOLUTION: In a spectroscopic analyzer, an optical system for measuring the absorbance of a sample comprises: a translucent part 220 in which a reaction cell, which is a container for storing the sample, is arranged; an illuminating part 210 including a light source for emitting illumination light to the sample in the container in the translucent part 220; and a photometry part 230 configured to measure the absorbance of the sample by rendering transmitted light from the sample in the container in the translucent part 220 spectroscopic, thereby detecting the intensity of each wavelength. A first optical fiber 240 is provided for connecting the illuminating part 210 and the translucent part 220 and guiding illumination light. A second optical fiber 250 is also provided for connecting the translucent part 220 and the photometry part 230 and guiding translucent light. The partial polarization characteristic of illumination light from a light source is eliminated by the first optical fiber 240 and is emitted to the sample as a non-polarization light. |
