PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner binder capable of improving the low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage stability of toner.SOLUTION: The toner binder contains a crystalline resin (A). A maximum peak temperature (Ta) of heat of fusion of the crystalline resin (A) is 40 to 100°C, and a ratio ((softening point)/Ta) of a softening point of the crystalline resin (A) to Ta is 0.8 to 1.55, and a temperature (X) of the fusion start of the crystalline resin (A) is within a temperature range of (Ta±30)°C, and the crystalline resin (A) meets condition 1: 50≤G'(Ta+20)≤1×10[Pa] and condition 2: 2.0<|logG"(X+20)-logG"(X)| where {G'(Ta+20) is the storage modulus [Pa] of the crystalline resin (A) at (Ta+20)°C, G"(X) is the loss modulus [Pa] at (X)°C, and G"(X+20) is the loss modulus [Pa] at (X+20)°C. The crystalline resin (A) has an acidic group at a molecular chain end. |
