PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell cultivation carrier having an excellent cell preservation property and being capable of utilizing cultured cells precociously which is a continuous 3-dimensional mimic tissue having a bioactivity, and to provide a method of application thereof.SOLUTION: The cell cultivation carrier of the invention is in a frozen state where two or more layers of cultured cell layers are provided on a porous body comprising an inorganic component and having an average flow pore diameter of 1 to 200 μm. The cell cultivation carrier of the invention is frozen in a state of continuous 3-dimensional mimic tissue formed on a porous body serving as a base having an excellent cell preservation property and comprising two or more layers of cultured cell layers, thus resulting in rapid recovery of bioactivity after thawing. The cell cultivation carrier of the invention may be used after cultivation after thawing of the cell cultivation carrier. |
