PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking material made of an inexpensive material, and not requiring an expensive manufacturing device.SOLUTION: A body part 1 is made by using a material of stamping the cardboard having a mass per unit area in a range of 50 g/m-300 g/maccording to a shape of a masking object place of an article being a masking object. A paper masking material 10 is constituted by sticking a reinforcing material 3 formed by cutting cardboard 2A composed of a surface material 21 and a corrugated plate-like core material 22, in a predetermined place of a surface and/or a reverse surface of the body part 1 so that a waveform by the core material 22 appears on its cutting surface. The paper making material 10 is prevented from being warped by the reinforcing material 3 without the need to increase the thickness, easily follows the shape of the masking place, and is extremely useful as a masking material used for painting a bumper of an automobile and the like. |
