PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device capable of realizing a fail-safe function to abnormality of a hydraulic pressure supplied to a primary pulley while miniaturizing a valve body and reducing costs.SOLUTION: A hydraulic pressure control device used in a vehicle incorporating a CVT (continuously variable transmission) in which a change gear ratio γ is changed according to a primary pressure Pin, includes: a primary pressure control valve for adjusting a primary pressure; a secondary pressure control valve for adjusting a secondary pressure; and an ECU (electronic control unit) for determining whether abnormality in hydraulic pressure in which the primary pressure is lowered by a value not generating the primary pressure according to the required change gear ratio, occurs or not, and controlling the secondary pressure control valve to discharge the secondary pressure under a condition that the occurence of the abnormality in hydraulic pressure is determined. |
