PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power loss caused in a remote controller so that power is used efficiently by the remote controller.SOLUTION: A water heater comprises: a tank unit 1; a kitchen remote controller 2; a bathroom remote controller 3; and a tank board 12. The tank board 12 is connected to the kitchen remote controller 2 and the bathroom remote controller 3 via a remote controller wire 4. A CPU circuit 16 mounted on the tank board 12 detects current consumption of the remote controllers 2,3 by a current consumption detection circuit 15. On the basis of the detection result, supply voltage to the remote controllers 2,3 is switched by a voltage changeover switch 14. By this way, the minimum required voltage can be supplied to the remote controllers 2,3 appropriately while taking into account a voltage drop in the remote controller wire 4. Thus, excessive power loss caused in the remote controllers 2,3 can be reduced while the remote controllers 2,3 is operated stably. |
