PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power control device for a vehicle, capable of inhibiting or preventing a driver from feeling incongruity with a change in the driving condition of auxiliary equipment when electric power generated depending on the travelling condition of the vehicle by a generator is abruptly changed.SOLUTION: An electric power control device for a vehicle predicts a power generation amount when executing at least either opening control such that the transmission of power between each of an internal combustion engine and the generator and a driving wheel is interrupted by a start clutch to reduce the revolutions of the internal combustion engine, or regeneration control such that the generator generates electric power with the travel inertial force of the vehicle in the state that each of the internal combustion engine and the generator and the driving wheel are connected in a power transmissive manner by the start clutch. Before starting the control after predicting the power generation amount, it starts to continuously change the power generation amount of the generator to be the predicted power generation amount. |
