PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery in which a sealing member ensures sealing between the inner surface of a sealing lid and the facing surface of a connection member, and an insulation member (insulation perimeter) is fixed reliably between the sealing lid and a connection member.SOLUTION: A sealing member 10 is expanded radially outward and a sealing tapered surface 103 is moved radially outward by pressing and compressing the sealing member 10 at least partially to the facing surface 131b of a connection member 13 by means of a sealing lid 5. The insulation perimeter 114 is pressed against the inner surface 5b of the sealing lid 5 by pushing an insulation tapered surface 115 to the sealing lid 5 side by means of the sealing tapered surface 103, thus fixing an insulation member 90 (first insulation member 11) for the sealing lid 5. |
