PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of servers some of which determine ranking of cipher suites at the server side not following the specification of SSL/TLS encryption communication.SOLUTION: A communication device of the invention comprises: an encryption scheme obtaining unit for obtaining first information on encryption schemes that can be used by another communication device; an encryption scheme selecting unit for selecting an encryption scheme that will be used in communication with the other communication device from the multiple encryption schemes on the basis of the first information; and a transmitting unit for transmitting the encryption scheme selected by the encryption scheme selecting unit to the other communication device. |
