PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank having an opening part preventing crevice corrosion.SOLUTION: A hot water storage tank for storing high temperature water comprises a cylindrical barrel part, an upper end plate for closing the upper end of the barrel part and a lower end plate 34 for closing the lower end of the barrel part. A tap pipe for discharging hot water of high temperature is connected to the top part of the hot water tank and at the same time a water feed pipe 7 for refilling the supplying water is connected to the bottom part of the hot water storage tank. The water feed pipe 7 at the bottom part of the hot water storage tank is arranged at a lid body 39 welded to an opening part 33 formed at the central part of the bottom part of the lower end plate 34. The lid body 39 is concave in its shape and is provided with a step part 40 at its extremity end, a lower end part 41 extending below the opening part 33 is mounted at the step part 40, is not a clearance structure, so that even if sediment is accumulated at its lower part, no corrosion part is present and no leakage is apt to occur and its anticorrosion characteristic is improved and it can be used in safe for a long period of time. |
