SECURITY SYSTEM AND METHOD USING HOME GATEWAY ALLIANCE

A security system using a home gateway alliance is provided, which includes: an alliance management server, which includes a gateway registration unit registering at least one of location information and IP information on a home gateway in response to a registration request for the home gateway; and an alliance management unit setting up the alliance relationship between a nearby home gateway and an alliance-requested home gateway in response to an alliance request from a user terminal of the home gateway that is registered with the gateway registration unit, and transmitting a message providing notice that there is a problem to an alliance home gateway having an alliance relation with a problematic home gateway or to the user terminal of the alliance home gateway, when an event message providing notice that there is a security problem is received from the home gateway registered with the gateway registration unit.
