IN-MOLD ANTENNA USING PRINTED PROTECTION LAYER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

According to an in-mold antenna to which a printed protection layer is applied and a method for manufacturing the same of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the in-mold antenna may be manufactured in the form of a shielded antenna pattern with a simple working process and low cost by printing a protection layer on a raw material of an antenna pattern with special ink and then primarily injection-molding an antenna pattern frame. Furthermore, according to the present invention, an antenna pattern may protrude to a quasi-exterior surface of a case so that excellent antenna performance can be obtained. A method for manufacturing an in-mold antenna according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of (a) applying an adhesive onto a raw material of an antenna pattern; (b) applying ink onto the adhesive; (c) punching the antenna pattern after the step (b); and (d) three-dimensionally molding the antenna pattern after the step (c).
