PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an insulation coating at low cost which is capable of presenting high heat resistance or insulation performance even when the film is thin, in magnetic core powder formed from soft magnetic metal powder and the insulation coating which covers a surface of the magnetic core powder.SOLUTION: Magnetic core powder 1 is formed from soft magnetic metal powder 2 and an insulation coating 3 covering a surface of the magnetic core powder. The insulation coating 3 is formed from an aggregate of crystals 4 configured by cleaving a layered oxide. Preferably, the crystals 4 are configured by cleaving a swelling layered clay mineral (in particular, a swelling smectite group mineral) as the layered oxide. |
