PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle grip device capable of detecting more accurately a rotary angle of a throttle grip.SOLUTION: A throttle grip device comprises: a throttle grip; a magnet 3 that rotates together with the throttle grip; a magnetic sensor 4 that can obtain output voltage corresponding to change in magnetic field of the magnet 3; and detection means for detecting based on the output voltage of the magnetic sensor 4 a rotational angle of the throttle grip, where an engine of the vehicle is controlled based on the rotational angle detected by the detection means. The magnet 3 has an inclined surface 3a, which is helically extended across the range of the rotational operation of the throttle grip, in which separation dimension between the magnetic sensor 4 and the magnet 3 varies depending on the rotational angle of the throttle grip. The inclined surface 3a is shaped so that a relation between the output voltage of the magnetic sensor 4 and the rotational angel of the throttle grip is proportional. |
