PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the detecting accuracy of a defective pixel having output characteristics dependent on a temperature, and hardly dependent on a charge accumulation time.SOLUTION: A defective pixel of an image pickup element 204 is detected from a first pickup image picked up by the image pickup element 204 (S303), and a defective element of the image pickup element 204 is detected from a second pickup image picked up in the image pickup element 204 (S307), and the defective pixel detected in the detection step S307 is removed from the defective pixel detected in the detection step S303 (S309), and the defective pixel obtained in the step S309 is determined as a defective pixel own by the image pickup element 204 having output characteristics dependent on a temperature, and hardly dependent on a charge accumulation time. |
