PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fire-resistant woody structure member, which enables efficient formation of a burning stop layer.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a fire-resistant woody structure member includes the steps of: providing a wooden layer with a storage part on an outer peripheral surface of a wooden core for bearing a load; and forming a burning stop layer by infilling a burning stop material into the storage part.
