PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately make calibration-basis correction in an image formation device irrespective of a result of a calibration process in the image formation device, and to ensure obtaining an optimum printing result in a system for carrying out printing using the image formation device and an image processing device connected to the image formation device.SOLUTION: An image formation device determines whether it is necessary to execute calibration in an image processing device using a result of executing calibration in the image formation device, and notifies the image processing device of an instruction to execute the calibration on the basis of a determination result.
