PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely perform a scan operation by imaging means.SOLUTION: In an imaging system 1, a placing table 3 includes: a base part 31 arranged on a medium installation surface 5 on which a medium 6 to be read is installed; an arm part 32 extended upward from the base part 31; a top part 33 extended from the arm part 32 so as to face the medium installation surface 5; and a placing surface 34 disposed at the top part 33 for placing a smart phone 2 (imaging means) at a position where the medium 6 installed on the medium installation surface 5 can be imaged. The base part 31, the arm part 32 and the top part 33 are integrally fixed to each other.
