PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly display location information indicating a location in a stereoscopic image.SOLUTION: An image display apparatus includes a display control unit and a location information control unit. The display control unit three-dimensionally displays a stereoscopic image on a display part by using a parallax image group generated from three-dimensional image data and also location information indicating a location in the stereoscopic image on the display part. The location information control unit moves the location information in each parallax image included in the parallax image group according to a travel amount received from an operator when receiving an instruction to move the location information towards the depth direction in the stereoscopic image from the operator.
