PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select optimal content for a user on the basis of history of position information, and easily provide the content to the user.SOLUTION: A content management server manages content provided to a user of a communication terminal of which position information is managed. The content management server includes: history storage means of storing history of the position information of the communication terminal; companion determination means of determining the presence/absence of a companion of the user of the communication terminal on the basis of the history of the position information; and selection means of selecting content provided to the user on the basis of the determination result of the companion determination means.
