<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly carry out reliable determination of the treatment effect of radiofrequency ablation in a simplified manner.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus according to the present embodiment comprises an acquisition unit, an image generation unit, and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires the position of a boundary of a region of interest set in first ultrasound image data of a subject. The image generation unit generates second ultrasound image data in which, pixel values according to the distance between the pixels and the boundary of the region of interest are assigned to pixels with luminance value changes before and after contrast administration equal to or greater than a threshold value in image data captured before and after the contrast administration to the subject who has undergone treatment using a puncture needle. The control unit displays the second ultrasound image data on a display unit.</p> |
